I think as someone who is far from a beginner yet nowhere near the professional level, my advice would be to not get hung up on technical aspects of your craft.
Of course your photos will look a lot more pleasing when you follow simple rules like the one of thirds. But don’t let all the theory stop you from expressing your creativity. The aim of the game is to have fun.
